Newborn Photographer in Kansas City. SERVING Blue Springs, INdependence, Raytown and Lee's Summit, MISSOURI
Hi there friends! Meet baby Brooks and his lovely family! I had the opportunity of working with Paul, Teresa, Brady and Cody for their family maternity session back in April. I was so excited to see them all again, with their plus one (adorable little Brooks), for another session.
As we all chatted I learned that they are a family of regular photo takers. Paul and Teresa shared about their experience with other photographers they've worked with, and the beautiful photos those photographers have taken for them. I was so happy to see that this family loves to capture their growth together!
I believe having professional photos done is so important, and even more so with big life events, like a new baby joining your family!
I know when it comes to planning for your newborn session it might be overwhelming to think about having to be "photo ready," only a week or two after you've had a baby. Our bodies change so much through pregnancy, and it can be hard to accept the way we look. Dealing with our postpartum bodies can be a challenge, and some of us might struggle with feeling self-conscious when it comes to being in photos. On top of all that, the exhaustion is SO real! However, I'm here to encourage you to be in your photos.
As parents, we are often the ones behind the camera. Capturing every new and exciting thing our babies do. The moments fly right past us. In a phone camera roll that is likely going to be filled with many photos of your children, it's so important to be part of these memories, and moments, WITH them. Because among all the exciting firsts, are the bitter sweet lasts. When they are grown, and memories start to fade, I want you to have photos that will remind you of just how little they were in your arms.
For those that are feeling uneasy about being in front of the camera during this time, just know that I'm here to help you look your best! My lighting, posing, editing and retouching, are all used in a way that is flattering and complimentary for portraits. I don't just want to document these moments for you, I want you to feel confident, and your best as I do so!
I'm no time traveler, but I'd say photography is the closest I'll get to helping others revisit their miraculous moments. I know you'll here it a thousand more times, but these little ones really do grow SO fast! So throw on some mascara, blush, and a nice top, and let me do the rest!
