FAQ
How do I book, and what is required?
To book your session I require a signed contract and 50% non-refundable reservation fee. The remaining session fee is due at least 48 hours before your scheduled session date. Contracts and invoices are done online for ease and convince.
Contact me to check availability, and get your session booked!
When should I have maternity photos taken?
Maternity photos are best taken between 33-36 weeks. You'll want to have a good size baby bump that will show up well in photos, but not so big that you may feel uncomfortable moving around and posing.
When should I have newborn photos taken?
I recommend taking newborn photos when little one is under 14 days old, with the sweet spot being between 7-10 days. This is when baby is still sleeping a lot, and is not easily disturbed when being posed.
If you are looking at having photos taken and are already beyond this ideal window, please do not hesitate to contact me! Though the images might vary from the work you'll see on my site, beautiful images of your baby can be captured at ANY time!
What time of day is best for an outdoor session?
I shoot all my session in the evenings, about about an hour before sunset. This is when the light is softest, and most complimentary for portrait photography. Specific times will depend on the time of year, and also the location.
Contact me if you have questions or want to know what time of day will be best for when you are looking to book!
Do you offer prints?
I do not offer prints at this time, though I hope to do so in the future. All of my sessions come with a print release form that gives you permission to have the images printed anywhere you'd like.
How long will it take to receive my photos?
You should have your photos back about 2 weeks after your session.
What if I want more than the 15 images included with the package?
Additional images in your proofing gallery are available to purchase for $20 per image.
